TwinCalendarX 1.3.1 Description

"The monthly calendar window displays one month at a time."

BS Editor: The monthly calendar window displays one month at a time. Today's date is highlighted in blue. Holy Days are highlighted in rose/red. Holy Days on which work should be suspended are indicated with the darker shade. Preferences control the display of sunrise and SUNSET times. Floating the cursor over a day on the calendar opens a help tag with Details about the date.
A printable version of this window is available either from the 'print' button in the window or from the 'File' menu. Using the 'File > Print Calendar' menu allows the user to print up to a full year of monthly calendar pages.
Although TwinCalendarX computes sunrise and sunset times based on latitude and longitude supplied by the user, it does not compute equinoxes. For this reason, TwinCalender does not attempt to adjust the displayed date of Náw-Rúz (New Year) for the equinox. Thus, Náw-Rúz is always shown as 21 March in TwinCalendarX. This is consistent with the way the Badí calendar is presently implemented in much of the Bahá'í world with leap years following the Gregorian pattern. However, according to Bahá'u'llah's instructions in the the Kitáb-i-Aqdas (Most Holy Book), Náw-Rúz is defined as the day on which the vernal equinox (in the northern hemisphere) occurs. Therefore, when the Badí calendar is fully implemented worldwide, the pattern of leap years will differ from that of the Gregorian calendar.
In some parts of the world, the birthdays of the Báb and Bahá'u'llah are celebrated on the days according to the Muslim lunar calendar while in places unfamiliar with such a calendar these observances are celebrated according to the solar Gregorian calendar. TwinCalendarX displays the birthdays of the Báb and Bahá'u'llah on 5 'Ilm (19-20 October) and 9 Qudrat (11-12 November) respectively, and does not attempt to display these dates according to the lunar calendar. you can free download TwinCalendarX 1.3.1 now.
