TidBits is a repository for such random pieces of information. A home for your individual thoughts and items until you are ready to put them all together.

TidBits allows you to easily organize these "tidbits" of data by category quickly and easily from the system tray of your Windows desktop.

You simply right-click the TidBits icon, select "New" from the menu and add your information. You then continue collecting information over time using the simple "Add" dialog. Add as much or as little information as you need including free-form text, links to web sites and even links to files on your local computer. Then store them away under a category of your choosing.

Need to add a category? Just type the name in the "Category" field...it will be added automatically. Or you can choose an existing category from the drop down list.

But the real power of this application comes to light when you need to retrieve your data.

The TidBits menu shows each category you have added along with the total number of notes in each category. One Click and....there they are. All on your screen where you can view them...copy them to other documents...etc. And, if you have a whole bunch of categories and/or notes...use the search window. You can specify title text, body text and a date range to retrieve your notes. you can free download TidBits 2.2 now.
