EditBy: My script translates the image into a JPG or PNG image and emails it to someone. I have gotten this to work on Netscape 4.x, IE 4.x, and IE 5.x on a Windows machine. I have not tested it on the 6.x browsers. I do not know if it works on the Mac. It does not work on the 3.x series of the browsers. Let me know please if the Palm or Pocket PC supports Java and you can get this to work.

This applet has many uses. My example displays an image only. I have Perl script for a server, which you can order if you desire. The server script sends the signature via email. This requires uuencode or a Similar encoding program on your server. You can have visitors submit drawings to you and have an art gallery on your web site. However, a unique use is for e-commerce.
