It will allow you to Batch purge an entire file folder of AutoCAD drawings. The process is automatic, so you don't have to know how to create a script file or to manually open every drawing and go through the time consuming purging process.
This program can be run at times when your archive server is at it's quietest, as open drawings and drawing Locks (.dwk) will cause a script to halt waiting for user input. So it is a good idea to clean out all .dwk files. Don't worry if you want to purge files across a network. The ability to map and un-map drives is built into the program. All you need is WRITE permission to the networked drive. Don't worry if you have a complicated directory structure setup. PURGEM 2000 is capable of punching down into the subdirectories and processing those files also. Do you have a catalog of older AutoCAD drawings that you would like to have the thumbnail preview on? PURGEM 2000 is your answer. Don't worry about altering the file date and time of your files. A unique feature of PURGEM 2000 is its ability to reset the file date and times back to their pre-purged values.
