Edit By BS Editor: The Free Data Capture Tool (FDC) gives you a convenient method for
capturing, filtering, mining, and conveniently processing text from webpages and other sources,
capturing images from web pages or dialog screens,
sending captured data via email.
FDC uses the MS/Windows clipboard and gives you a MYRIAD of processing options that facilitate data mining of captured text. FDC generally hides in your system tray waiting for clipboard copy events to occur. FDC has a single interface dialog that pops up when activated. The interface has a captured data box on the left where either the image or text that was last captured is displayed as a thumbnail. Click on an image to View It. Capture options are on the right side of this dialog. Pressing the [Filters] button gives you control over how capture text data is processed.
General Settings
Monitor Clipboard for Images: any image saved to the clipboard will be copied to the FDC capture box.
Monitor Clipboard for Text: any text copied to the clipboard will be displayed in the FDC capture box.
Automatically Save Data: when text or an image is captured, it will be saved in the specified folder using the current sequence number and file format as the filename.
Append Text: captured text will continue to be appended to the existing text in the capture box. When you save the text, the box will be cleared.
Folder to Store Automatic Data: specify the folder into which images and text will be saved. Press the button to locate an existing folder. When saving images, the filename will consist of the foldername+sequencenumber+suffix . When saving text, the filename will consist of the foldername+sequencenumber+'.TXT'.
Automatic Sequence Number: indicates the next number to be used as part of the saved data's filename. Change this as needed.
BMP, GIF, JPEG: specifies the image format for images that are automatically saved. you can free download Free Data Capture 1 now.
