Internet Explorer is not even required, as the components needed for browsing functionalities are an integrated part of the Windows operating system.

DeskView contains no AdWare or Spyware and providing an email address is completely optional when registering. Much like a forum, a unique username (qname) and password is all that is required to access the information contained within this application.
