BS Editor: CMWiz is an application to keep track of your software licenses, a Configuration management tool.
With CMWiz you can track what manufacturer's product you have, how many licenses, and even WHERE all of those licenses are being used at!
Requirements:

Microsoft Excel (tm) is required, not provided. Excel is used to handle the spreadsheets for individual license tracking, CM-Wiz merely sets the headers up and creates the file for you.

Using CM-Wiz

Prior to using CM-Wiz you must populate the Manufacturer, Products, and Client type licenses you will be using.
Manufacturers are whomever you have purchased software from, the product being the software, and the license type would be something
similiar to "Server", "Client", or "Site" license. These are provided for you but can be edited.

To do this launch the "Drop Down Configurator".

The reason this is kept separate is because some CM software will allow you to put the same word in, misspelled or not capitalized correctly and thus you may have three or four records for the same software and may be unable to track it all at one time without wasting time searching for variations in the spelling.
This way it's kept consistent and not changeable by accident. Administrators can set this up and point the users to the CM-Wiz. Future version will have password Protection on the drop down configurator if requested.

Once the fields are populated, launch CM-Wiz and press the NEW RECORD button.

The only information that is REQUIRED to create a record is the manufacturer, and product. Beyond that it is solely up to individual users to populate the data.
