Server component:-· Client-Server based architecture employing an encrypted database for customer logging and reporting. · Flexible terminal and system configuration via a protected “system configuration screen”. · Flexible charges rate and units configuration via a protected “admin configuration screen”. · Charges other than session usage such as food, drinks or printing may be added to a session once it has begun. Such charges are maintainable by the administrator. · A session can be based on actual usage or a prepaid amount. For prepaid session, the session will be end automatically once the time is reached. · Session in progress can be transferred from one terminal to another. · Session pause due to technical problem such as system hang can be resumed. · User can remotely restart or shut down any selected terminal. · Emergency print out is available to cater back up in case of power failure. · Able to produce detailed session reports for a specific date/time range or filter by transaction number. · Able to produce summarized reports based on daily or monthly subtotal. · Allows the creation and maintenance of “Cashier” login account by the administrator to assist the management in café administration. · (New) User can remotely control the clients master volume. Clients component:- · Auto-reconnection feature for clients should the connection be broken due to the event such as server shut down etc. · Client program starts automatically during Windows startup. · Client terminal is Lock when the session is not in progress. · Client program able to block access to system functions such as “Close Program, Task Switching, Ctrl-Alt-Del etc”.
