It is designed for use either with Microsoft Active Server Pages scripts, or as a stand-alone COM-compliant ActiveX DLL component. (Note that evaluation versions of the component can only be used within ASP). ASPointer offers a range of file access options, based broadly on the proposed W3C XPointer language.
