Editor: MANHATTAN is a development tool for automatic code reviewing of ASM, C, C++, C# and Java source code. In addition to the usual metrics computed in such tools (%comments, average lines per method, cyclomatic complexity, etc), MANHATTAN will also animate a whole 3D view of a city that IS your source code. This unusual rendering of the source code provides an immediate "feeling" about the quality of the code. It might sound surprising at first, but experience shows that a bad looking city in the 3D view of MANHATTAN is usually a sign of poorly written source code, not necessarily a code that won't work, but at least that will be hard to debug and maintain. Which we all know is the most time and cost expensive part of a software project.
3D City View

The 3D city view gets you right inside the source code. Every building represents a method of a class. The longer the method (in lines of code), the Taller the building. The number of parameters for the method makes the width of the building.
The spacing Between the streets and the building is proportional to the spacing in your code, that is the ratio between effective lines of code and the rest (comments+empty lines). The more comments in your code, the greener is the grass around your buildings.

Now, even non-developers can tell the difference between healthy, good-looking, clean code, and spaghetti code.
Score View

The score view summarizes all the results of the code analysis: %comments, %asserts, average lines per method, cyclomatic complexity, etc. The rightmost value on the score view is the weight of each mark into the Overall score displayed at the bottom.
Project Details

The details view lists all the source files that were analysed, and for each file displays the various results. There you can easily spot the files that bring your score down.
