Edit by : The regular Trudeau font preserves the look of letters held Between top and bottom rails. The font includes several pairs of brackets which cap the ends and create a sort of Cartouche.

The new Trudeau Sans has no rails, making the font much more flexible.

The complete version of each font includes caps, some alternates in the lowercase positions, numbers, limited punctuation, but no accented characters.

Too much information:

The name "sans" is misused intentionally. The font is not sans in the usual sense, as it retains its serifs. It's sans the connecting rails, of course.
I actually made an earlier version without the rails first, then added the rails. I lost the rail-less version (and a lot of other files) and didn't have the heart to recreate it at the time.
The photo above is taken from the back of the archway, then flipped, as it showed the sign better. That's Albany Medical Center in the background above, not the Law School.
The numbers are a new addition. I had inadvertently listed the font as including numbers; now it actually does, as well as a few other new and tweaked characters.
For missing letters and numbers, I looked at examples of decorative fonts with a Similar historical feel. you can free download TRUDEAU 1.5 now.
