RICHARDSON, Texas – damaka, a fast-growing communications and collaboration software Company, announces its Computer Telephony Interface (CTI) capable Personal SoftswitchTM application. CTI capability indicates that the application can act/react on the activities occurring on the deskphones.“CTI is used to implement intelligent call routing. Calls can be routed based on account and/or caller specific information”, states Satish Gundabathula, damaka CTO. “Now damaka application is capable of performing intelligent call routing and management at the end user level.” An example could be, sales executive could enable a call forwarding feature on his deskphone to his PC in a different location
Damaka enterprise application could be CTI enabled by integrating to a CTI Server which is linked to the PBX. The CTI Server can both receive event data from the PBX as well as command/control the PBX. All major switches have a CTI IP based link for connections to a CTI Server. This feature would greatly enhance the productivity & efficiency of enterprise clients.
Damaka also announces that its application is integrated to MS Office suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel). In other words, users can click on a contact (email, name, Web Link) and make a communication connection via damaka application.
